Evelyne dressed for the Nile cruise

It was the last evening of our Nile cruise, and we had to dress for the occasion. Evelyne had bought this striped bustier cardigan with golden satin reflections. When drawing it, I was thinking of those ancient bronze statues in which golden eyes were embedded to make them more alive, and which were dressed in precious fabrics on their bodies in sculpture cast in bronze. I look at her and her beauty breathes.
